This is a personal project utilizing the skills I employ in my professional career to bring my printed artwork to life, using motion graphics and sound.
Overview
Inspired by a child's drawing of a fly, I created a screen print called Pitcher Plants. I then decided to bring the print to life for my own amusement with the title Heaven Scent. This was my first attempt at an insect walk cycle and I found it challenging to say the least.
Approach
I wanted to embrace the vibrancy of the printed colours, the simplicity and crudeness of the linocut textures. As if the linocut had simply come to life.
